Smoked Salvia last night... (pg. 3)

He's been going through some and he wanted to trip out badly to a drug. I go over his house on a Friday night just to chill, drink some Irish Car bombs and smoke a blunt. He can't smoke anymore because it makes him too paranoid. So, me and a few friends went outside and hotboxed homie's car up, then came back inside. I'm feelin' pretty stoned and relaxed, but my friend is anxious. He takes me back outside and says how much he is fiending for a psychedelic, like acid. I tell him I can't help him with that ATM because my connects are dry for that weekend. But then I tell him that I still have some 20X salvia in the trunk of my car saved up from a few weekends ago. He asks if it's like weed and I tell him that it's basically an acid trip rolled up in 20 minutes. And that there was no way you can compare weed with salvia. It's enough to interest him so he goes back in the house and makes a homemade bong out of a 20 oz water bottle and a pen poked near the bottom. I pack the bowl full and light it up for him with a torch lighter outside by the street. It's night time and no one was out, so we figured it be safe enough.
The effects kicked in very fast. I took the bong from him as he just stares at me dazed, his knees start to buckle a bit. The friends who I shared a blunt with are also outside watching and we take a few steps forward to him because it looks like he's about to collapse on the sidewalk. But as we get closer to him he stands rigid and points a finger at us. He looks like he's about to say something, but he doesn't and lowers the finger down. We think everything is okay so we step in closer again, and this time he just freaks out. He starts backpedaling on us and as we try to calm him down he just doesn't have it. Instead he runs out in the middle of the street. It was the worst timing ever, for the street, which was deserted for over an hour now has one lone car driving up with its headlights on and my friend is running straight for it. Now we grow alarmed and immediately dash out after him. We somehow manage to form a perimeter around him and he runs back onto the sidewalk and then the lawn, afraid of us. The car has passed now and doesn't seem like it even noticed us, to our relief. But by now we're screaming at our friend to calm down and to stop running away from us. He can't seem to understand anything we're saying. He finally makes an attempt to talk back to us. What comes out of his mouth is, "Grrrerrbeecchhefffddah!" We simply stare at him dumbfounded, I mean we are stoned out of our minds as well and him just speaking this new language to us was just astonishing. He then says " it," and darts off to the front door of his house. He can't seem to open the door so he runs back to the garage and tries to lift the garage door open. But he can't manage to get the garage door open either so he runs to his car and goes inside. We fear that he's trying to drive away from us so we go inside the car with him. But he just sits there in the driver's seat, shaking, and smoking a ciggarette, trying to calm down. I had never seen anyone react so badly to a drug before, and seeing it while stoned just tripped me the out too.
As our friend finally sobers up some 40 minutes later, he tells us what happened. Apparently he was very taken aback at how quickly the salvia took effect. He thought it would take at least 10 minutes or so, not 30 seconds. He said we had all morphed into devils and were trying to take him to Hell and that was why he freaked. He doesn't even remember almost getting run over by the car. Just that devils were chasing him and the landscape was reverting into Hell. He felt lucky to still be alive. He then decided after that to never try salvia ever again. Can't say I blame him either. We all knew it was going to be a huge trip for him, but we never expected he would try to run away from us so suddenly. But no one got hurt, so it's just a story we all make jokes about now.

yeah that's totaly messed up i never seen anyone react like that to salvia i think the worst thing i had happen to me on salvia is droolin gon myself while trying to talk...lol |

| i gotta get some salvia, if there was a place i could walk to i'd get some. there isnt anywhere that i know of in the entire county where i could get some. i used to know one place, they closed or some. people out here have no idea what salvia is. |
