Addy's "sound" (style) is indeed very good - bumping, intense, driving - I like it. With respect to layering tracks on top of each other - he's probably one of the best in Toronto. Look at his fan base - it's a testament to this fact.

was his cozo set anything like his drink set?

i had way too much fun at orange room and gallery, i was bustin a move left and right, up and down and i was alredy a broken old man on my way to the drink. i wanted to chill and listen to some good tunes. BUT it didnt happen. the beats were so raw, so ing bumpy that i had no choice but to suck it up like a champ and giv'er. that was a mindnumbingly good set.

i was on a parking lot, on my way to cozo but it would be just too much so i took a detour to mu friends house. i ate half a pizza lol.

shanny
Thanks to all those who made it, it was another great day at the zone.

Not a huge fan of Addy's set, Deko-ze's was great, Sydney Blu was good too.

Simon Jain had the set of the day for me...
I wish they would schedule him there more often, he has the perfect zone sound.

RJ, Margaret, Laura, Justin, Steve, Sam, Shelly, Sean...
Smaller crew than expected, but still a very successful zone mission.

Shiiit!! Is that what I've become?? lol... my first time at the zone was cool enough... Strange for sure, but still cool... I got there after Tiesto, and Deep Dish... saw the end of Addy, De-Koze, and Sydney BLu... Sydney tore it up for me, I thought she played amazing... Didn't run into anyone,, but I haven't met many of you before...

Can't believe I haven't been there before now,, I was very uncomfortable at first and almost left after 20 mins... seemed everywhere I went, there was a hulking shirtless man, with a look in his eye, that said "mmmm, fresh meat!!" It was like I was wearing a stamp on my forehead...

Once I got in the groove, all I focused on was the music, and whoever was providing it for me... spent most of my time near the Dj... The only ty part was feeling like I HAD to keep my shirt on... It was soaked, and I wanted to relax, but all I kept thinking was how my friends told me... "No matter what, leave your shirt on!!"

I didn't know there was a "no camera rule"... found out quickly, and apparently, could have had my digi smashed, and I might have even got an ass kicking... I was surprised, I like taking pics of Dj's... Addy was posing, De-koze, was jammin... I guess I know now...

All in all, I had a great time,, Hope you cats that made it, enjoyed yourselves as well...

So are your friends CZ newbies? I have absolutely no use for a shirt of any kind while inside CZ.

Seemed to me to be the beginning of Danny Tenaglia-Dibiza, but then he mixed it inot another track fairly quickly. Could be wrong though.

Probably ventured into Boystown right away. They can be pretty intimidating if your not used to it, especially when they do some G and get real grindy.
