trance died years ago
Aquarian
Alphazone's still around. The day they stop is the day we can declare the genre dead.
Purple
trance died... forget about 'hard trance'.

yeah hard trance more or less died a couple of years ago. most of the big german producers which put out loads of stuff such as the stuff from Gary D, Technoclub (the label), Tracid Traxx, Flutlicht etc aren't very productive today.

alot of them went cheesy such as Dave 202, Fridge, Beam vs Cyrus etc which did good hardtrance but they all went for the crappy german cheese sound.

meh trance is dead, so im going to blast out alphazone tunes outta my motor (when i finally get ing insurance and car)
Cosmic
It's a shame...it was (and still is!) the best music

like stated here by a few people it did die a few years ago. artist such as cosmic gate and dumonde and flutlicht stopped making music or turned to a different genra.
alphazone is practically the only one's still doing it.

Alphazone sucks these days...

Only hardtrance artist I still appreciate these days is newcomer Mark Sherry; he produces tight stuff

so true. It lived a prosperous life, but died. It became a breakdown competition & ridiculous & the general interest in it all went down too.
