Well you coming from bournemouth would have experienced quite a bit from slinky I suppose! Lee haslam is class! I like Graham gold, he plays a good mix between hard and not.
But yes, the scene is no where as big as it was 5 years ago!

there's an awesome hard trance line-up coming up in june at slinky: Tissera, Haslam, Lab 4, Dark by Design and Graham Gold. think thats going to be a def even if most of the djs will still be playing the same records as 3 years ago

I saw gg at a club classics night at pepublica in oxford. He was class! Seen all of them actually but for me gg was the best. lab 4 also played but the system was so bad that it was just.....noise!

Just a thought a mate of mine used to love the hard trance stuff, now hes getting into normal trance and digs artists like John O'Callaghan and John Askew.

Maybe if you havnt already, check them out?

I soooo miss the old Music Research-styled hard trance: Suck Me Plasma, Influence, Tetsuo.... damn. Gimmie my Komakino (or Final Fantasy, or Influid, or etc...), Overdog, Urban Trance Plant, Norman Feller, X-Cabs, and them boys. That stuff was so much fun back in the day.

I will have to agree with that. He is my top producer of all time, His tunes are mint! Different from other same sound of trance.

Ace Da Brain - Depths Of Doom is good too...Combination hardtrance and hardstyle.but he doesn't produce that much hardtrance though mostly trance.

I don't think hardtrance is dying, just need to look harder. I am a noob hardtrance dj and got an new order of hardtrance vinyls coming this friday! I can't wait! so hardtrance is still alive :)
