other than that everything has kinda been average, nothing really amazing ... i dunno!
but i have a feeling all of that will change in the upcoming weeks / months tho (ie. richie next week, lawler in june, sundance festival etc etc)
edit: oh yea aquaviva @ the drink in january was ing wicked!

yeah, i kinda feel the same way. although, i haven't been out much so most events have been good, but nothing AMAZING (although i did think danny on nye rocked, it wasn't like 12 hour aria amazingness or anything). i have not had any "spiritual epiphanies" due to fantastic sets like in the days of yore. hehe.
i dunno if it's just me getting bored of this or if it's the music, but i miss that! :( i'm waiting for lawler on the skybar to cure this. |

1. Sleeparchive @ Sud99
Sleeparchive is a master of minimal, and starting to edge his way past Hawtin for me. The promoters really went the extra mile to transfom Sud99 into a totatly new space, the decorations were stellar and the music was great. Sleeparchive knocked me on my ass and I loved it.
2. Speedy J @ The Gallery
Mother en Speedy J - hard, reletnless, and just a constant build of intensity. Normally i dont like beats that hard/fast, but this just floored me, amazing party.
3. Audion @ Footwork
I left this party feeling like my head had just been sent through a sonic head-bender, great music, lots of fun.
4. C&C @ Sonic
After spending the first part of the year going to techno parties, I needed to get some dirty tribal goodness into my system. First time checking out Sonic, and 3rd time seeing C&C. While their NYE set at Stereo (last time I saw them) was better, this set was pretty good. Danced nonstop from the time I got in the door, great night |

That was an awesome party....my techno legs were at their finest that night. The only reason it doesn't make my top 3 is the lack of TA turnout.....for me....the party doesn't start and end with the music....the people I'm with make a huge difference. |
