My best of the year so far...
1) Sander Kleinenberg on the Space Terrace in Miami.. When he be mdropped This is Miami I turned to the random people beside me.. and said, so happy I am here - people will be talking about this party all year..(so it may only e talking but that's okay) Ask poor Magikb - I kept sending her text messages all night and morning, I knew she would understand the craziness.
2) Erick Morillo on the Space Terrace in Miami - Met him for the first time.. got into the booth, got a great pic (look to the left), and he dedicated "Work this " to Killah Monkey and I... Plus, there were lots of DJ's mulling about.. DJ Dan, Glaude, Angello, Ingrosso, Nunez..
3) Erick Morillo's Birthday Bash @ Pacha in NYC.. Random trip to help recover from post Miami depression.. the best part of this was his head security guard remembered me from Miami because he loved the shirt so much. He brought be back up to the booth to see Erick again - who also remembered me from Miami.. My Mom told me putting on my shirt would get me no where in life.. what does she know??
4) Roger Sanchez/C&C/Tom Stephen @ Space... again the Terrace does amazing things to DJ's and it makes them spin out of control.. \
Best part of all of those.. they introduced me to the greatness of Love Sensation... :p
So many others - Sean Miller @ Nocturnal, B en B, Sonic any night I have been..
I hope to revise the list after Lawler @ Skybar, Global Gathering UK and Ibiza.. |
