I remember in high school they wouldn't let people have 311 material in their lockers or on their backbags. because the 11th letter of the alphabet is K and so they thought 311 was the KKK.

311 has been one of my favorite bands ever since i was 12 yrs old. :D
they put on one hell of an amazing live show... i've only seen them live once but i'm dying to see them again! |

exactly the same! been a fan since i was 12, only seen them once. i've got pretty much all of their albums, but i barely listen to them anymore. :(

that is not where the band name came from, IIRC it came from an indecent exposure stunt when they are kids, skinny dipping.

music was my favorite album
i'd have to say my fave song was "tribute" (can be found on the 311 live album) sadly i've never heard them play it live, it doesnt get played very often :( |
