gonna pick me up a sasha album (or Sasha and Diggers, havent decided) but im still sorta a n00b when it comes to house...

so which is it? Airdrawndagger, Involver or his Fundacion NYC compilation? or should i pick up a S&D album?? need something for the road :p

I don't think all those you mentioned qualify as house, but everybody has their own opinion on those labels nowadays. :)

I would get ADD, although listen to samples b/c w/ most people and that album its a love it or hate it kinda thing.

Ofcourse if you haven't heard any of the Northern Exposure series I would check out those too.

Aslo theres GU 013 which is a timeless classic.

first get Involver, then Airdrawndagger... and listen to them many times, with an open mind.. :)

I'd def switch that. Airdrawndagger is much older than Involver.

The how do u name Digweed as one of your fav Djs in your profile?

Anyway pick GU13 if you are into trance. This album got me into prog and house.

If you like it you should check Involver or Airdrawndagger and then go back to classics (Northern Exposure series) which are my favs -> God Within - Raincry :eyespop: .

Both were great in their own ways- I always suggest starting from the bottom and working your way up. Sasha is an artist who has evolved a lot during the last 10 years in terms of sound so I think date of release plays an important role.

Although I agree, this logic is appropriate for someone in the know. For a self-proclaimed nOOb, the more recent, more modern work might seem more appealing, and a gateway into the classic sounds that brought Sasha to where he is now.

Maybe for the lazy n00b. The smart n00b will do it right.
