You have to be on ing crack and ecstacy simultaneously to post something like that.
I know people who can't even ing pinpoint China on the map.
The average teenage American can't find Louisiana or Mississippi on the map, and barely 50 % knows where New York State is.
There's a lot of racial profiling in USA too, which has a direct connection to the Freedom of religion thing.
The police, in general, often turn against black people (It's pretty much just a matter of time).
Why? Well, we'd need to understand why so many black people commit crimes. My guesses are that they're progressively being pushed out of the society because a stereotype has been created, or maybe lived on since the days of imperialism when the big nations brought black people as slaves to their own countries.
I dunno, I don't give this subject a lot of time, mainly because I'm only fifteen years old, so I can't really debate with you guys. However, I'm really interested in how the world is developing, so I always try to play a minor role in the game. |

I would say America has a great higher education system. The reason K-12 system is bad is because as Americans we glorify idiocy in the mass media by valuing athletic prowess over intellectual prowess. How can you have smart teenages when it is considered cool to not know anything? Why be smart when you can be multi-million dollar athlete that can not string together a complete sentence? Let me tell you, the QB from my high school got a free ride at Princeton and I don't think he could have formed a coherent thought if his life depended on it. On ther other hand, when you get to college you actually get students who actually do want to learn (hopefully). Those who are paying for their education (especially the students who are not supported by others) will actually put forth the effort into educating themselves. Until we have a paradigm shift I think our lower education system will remain at the same level
In regards to racial profiling (I'm not white) I would say that in some cases profiling is correct. As to your theory I would disagree. I would say it would have more to do with their lower socioeconomic status and the fact that being a thief/drug dealer/gang banger has more bang for the buck (pun intended) then going to school. Rap moguls make millions of dollars on record albums putting up gang violence, domestic abuse, drugs, rape, murder & biogtry as the staples of life in the hood. (And we support them) The only way to break the cycle is through education--which they do not have. Since people do not educate themselves; fear, anger & survivalism (very animal-like i would think?) instead of reason rule most of their actions. |

I'll stick up for our education system and say that it served me well. :p The problem is that an overwhelming amount of American kids today are too lazy and apathetic.
BTW I don't think James Holden is "uncomfortable" in America. |

Yeah. I know in Seattle it's taken forever to get in, and the lines are huge. In San Francisco, for the LPSF Afterparty last year, the line double-backed all the way around the huge building and estimates were a couple of hours of waiting to get in. |

The vast, vast majority of them play in lounges and clubs, not hole-in-a-wall bars. But don't let that take away from your rant.

The biggest scene in Chicago is the trance scene. The Eastern Europeans here will slam a club full just for about any major trance act. Unfortunately, we can't the say the same for house or techno.
