| The real crime was the "door price"!!! If you waited to purchase at the the door it set you back 80 bucks a person....i purchased my tickets months earlier for 20....poor guys...i would have never paid that! |

as a former promoter
dj fees depend on a number of factors
day of the week, tour schedules and so forth
it can be as little as a couple grand for a night if you can book a non-weekend show smack dab in the middle of a tour as it would pass by your city, you wind up "pitching in" for the entire tour
or it can reach numbers like 50,000 for a one hour set
that's where negotiations and talking with booking agents comes in
there is no set fee or hourly wage |

| between around £5000 - £20,000 a gig, dont forget all the super posh hotels, the first class air tickets, and all the other bollocks that goes with it. :D |
