now ive read a lot of reviews/overviews and it looks like their tech.specifications are identical. the T-120C is about 60-100 $ cheaper, but the ST-150 looks more sweet (think 12X0 mk5 :)) and includes a 680HP cart+stylus
whats your opinion? |

get the 150's
The 120C's are too plasticky for my liking, I don't agree with having pitch bending buttons on a TT, and the 150 just feels more solid and serious. |

| i kinda like the idea of pitch bend buttons on a TT. i don't know about how practical they'd be though. i've heard nothing but good things about the ST-150, i'd say go for those. there's a 100 dollar price difference betweent the 120C and the 150 for a reason. |

Wait, not going by anything technical, but from the gut, thats how you need to look at things like this...
If you wait and buy the 150's then you'll feel like the wait was worth it, you'll feel more excite dfor the wait and you'll appreciate them more, and feel cooler.
Good thigns come to those who wait. |

believe me - they are practical. ive said in a previous thread i have made a back2back comparison of Tech 1210 mk2 and Stanton T-120, and T-120 totally kicked the Tech's azz !!! the pitch buttons rock, their so easy to use , its almost cheating :toothless |

Yeah it all comes down to the fact that Stanton make the 150 as there leading turntable... Its build so much more solid than any of there other decks, I am a massive fan of my 150's and love them to death, but all of stantons other decks I think are just to plastic and trying to look like some kind of space shuttle.
The 150's are totally the way to go, Just the overall look and solid steel build make them the wise choice, and at the end of the day if its only $100-$150 difference for you will it really be that much harder to save up the extra coin... If your brutal and dont go outside you will have them in way less than a month and a half. |

take in mind that I live very f**king far from the major dj scene, so in Ukraine the prices are:
Technics 1210 mk2 - 650-700 USD
Stanton S-150 - 600-650 USD
Vestax PDX-2300 - 600-650 USD |

Definitly wait and then choose between the techs and the stanton.
If you can test them both out and see how you like them.
Iv realised that although stantons are pretty good we still dont know if they can last as long as techs, just for the fact that they havnt been out that long.
So for now my allegiance is with technics. |
