this is how it went all night long:
Nada: "empty streets omg i die"
me texting rene: "holy man i can't b live he just dropped empty streets!"
rene: "wtf man where r you???"
5 mins later
nada: "643 i'm in heaven"
me texting rene again: "flight 643!!"
rene: "you ass i thought u weren't coming!"
5 mins after that
nada: "lethal industry!!!"
me texting rene once more: "did i just hear lethal industry?"
rene: "i'm by the right speaker hurry up and come here"

and props to nada! text: "lethal industry!!" 10 secs after she sent me the text, sasha calls and all i hear is the first beat of lethal industry come on!!! thanks sash, when i heard it, i was going crazy outside of my cottage, until my neighbour came out and told me to shut the up it's 4 in the morning!!!
i'm glad everyone had a blast and everyone knows that Tiesto is not dead and not anywhere close to being that. #1 or #101, he still puts on a show that's worth the price of admission and that's the bottom line. So stop the critisizing, stop the bitching and the whining, and appreciate what he does on that stage!!
p.s. i feel really bad that i missed him, but it wasn't my choice. if i had a slight chance i'd be there, but it wasn't up to me. |

Tiesto was insane.
Thumbs up to the Docks and Gem Events for
1) not overcrowding the club. A LOT less people than last year. I think Cosmopolitan82 & were pretty comfortable for most of the night, and we had some pretty good spots too
2) the volume was much louder than last time. The sound was great last night.
Overall, the setup in the docks was awesome. All those screens, the lighting, the lasers, and just the overall control over the lighting was great. Once again, the sound was awesome too. The docks should work on the coat-check system, the way they have it at guv is a lot better. BUt, it really wasnt THAT bad.
The music, just awesome. Tiesto played a blend of house & trance the first 2 hours, basically a showcase for the new ISOS. The next 3 hours was just great trance, only the way Tiesto can bring it. He just kept building and building, getting harder and crazier, it was awesome. I didnt recognize too many tracks by the end, but damn, they were crazy. I was completely sober last night, and to enjoy the set as much as i did was great.
Last night Tiesto reminded everyone why he is one of the best trance Djs in the world. Like someone else posted earlier in this thread, when Tiesto is on his game, noone can touch him.
Worth the expensive ticket? Hell yeah, worth every damn penny. |
