| All I can say is wow. This was my first time seeing Tiesto live, and his set blew me away. Sick tracks and the mixing was flawless. The docks had an awesome setup to, and the staff was really good. Great night overall, 10/10. |

My first time to the Docks, my first time to see Tiesto live. All thanks to my gf to shock the hell out of me when she told me the day before that she got tix!!!!!!!! (early four yrs anniversary present!)
We arrived with our group of friends around 10pm. Found a spot right against the chain curtain (in front of liberation lounge).
I didn't have my camera  oh what a regret
I have not had this much fun, energy, and excitement ever at a party, nor have I stayed for the full duration (didn't leave til like 7:30am).
Holy fark that was awesome!!! Worth way more than a measly $70 for a ticket!!!
The energy of the whole place was enough to blow the roof off right when the banner came down... OMFG :D
Thank you to those who have posted photos and videos from the night!!!
The only other regret besides not having my camera, was that I ventured into liberation lounge and made the mistake of staying in there from about 4am til 5:15am ... I missed all the good shiet as well as his closing! DOH! |

TIESTO WAS OFF THE HOOK!!!!!
The docks is no more becuase Tijs Verwest Destroyed the place.
We got there at about 11:30 took about 25 mins to get in. Once we got in, we grabbed a few drinks and it was time for Tiesto. The opening was off the hook was just to the left of the Dj booth to see the Sunrise banner fall. He kicked it off awesome, played some great isos tracks early (Karen Overton 2nd track in) His version of 643 was just incredible, Ive never heard soo many ppl talk about 1 track afterwards. I was real glad to see him drop Just be, it brought shivers thru the crowd. Then he went out with a blast too. The sound was good, helluva lot better then last time. Overall This was an off the hook party best 1 in a long time. Great sound, staff, tracklist, lighting, and IMO the best DJ in the world.....
The thing I love about Tiesto vs many other Dj's is he looks like hes having just as much fun as the crowd, always smiling and jamming hard in his booth. Glad to see such great reviews, I will try to get some of my vids up aswell. I have Tears from the moon, Karen Overton, Fonzerelli, few others. |

Wow.
Having read the reviews of recent Tiesto parties I was pretty excited to see what he had in store - and delivered! This party was 2nd only to the June 2003 midweek one at The Docks... His set was varied enough that even the most discerning of tastes had something there for them - (including my friend Jeff who is the biggest whiner when it comes to Trance but he was going nuts too - that was classic).
Props to Gem for a great event and Russel et al for that stage/lighting setup which was 'off the scale'.
...and to Vinyl Junkies/Carlo Lio (whomever decided to drop Heaven Scent)
(haha, holy , I posted a review!)
P.S. -- What was that 80s track dropped by Sean Miller around 12:10 - nice remix! |
