A DISAGREE WHOLE-HEARTEDLY. THIS IS DISAPPOINTING, BUT ONE WILL DEAL WITH IT FOR ARMIN IN THIS VENUE.

No so much the clothing at all, as it's the shoes. My dress shoes are ones you can slip your foot into (do not have any sort of laces on them).

This means they are not a great snug fit, and thus dancing in them will not only be generally quite a bit less comfortable than my regular black Airwalk skate shoes, but also my feet will be moving around within thedr lose-fitted dress-shoes (not good for dancing!).

. Oh well... ARMIN, only for you.

What Armin show do you speak of in Toronto?

I dunno why everyone is freaking out so much about the dress code and the no advance tickets. If there's no advance tickets, that probably means that it won't be hard to get tickets. Think about it, the Niagra Falls scene isn't that big to begin with, why do you think ticket prices are so low?

And who cares if you can't wear a pair of running shoes and a wife beater to the club? Put on a pair of nice shoes and a button up shirt. I've been to many places with a "dress code" and I very rarely dress up, thus I don't have that many dressy clothes. It's not that hard to look "half decent" to get into these places.

I like to dress up but not to the point where I am wearing dress pants and shoes to a club. Get my point ? I don't wear a beater to clubs, I dress in nice stuff thats not cheap but that is no way classy...I am talking casual. How stupid will this looks Armin spinning trance and ppl dressed up something just doesn't click there and totally kills the vide. I mean if the owner owns the Guvernement he should know better. And about the ticks...if I go I'll be driving 5 hours...now imagine getting there n poof sold out...the club only holds 800 ppl ? thats nothing.

You don't necessarily have to wear dress pants to this place. It was said that people wore jeans - but it was few and far between. That still means you CAN wear them. They just can't have rips and holes in them. They have to be nice, clean cut jeans.

I think Charles knows exactly what he's doing. Like I said before...he owns TIL and he has PLENTY of business for a dress coded place, and people are rammed packed into that place dancing - I know, I've been there.

And I'm coming from Windsor...5 to 6 hours for me. It's a risk you have to take. But chances of you getting tickets are probably very high. If you're worried so much why don't you call the club and express your concern and ask them when you should arrive so you're guaranteed entrance.

This isn't up on his website or the Guvernment's. Very likely that he'll be there but not 100%, and thus tickets wouldn't be on sale, and probably won't be for another month.

I suppose that's a point, but why is it always such a big deal for people whenever there's a hint of a dress code at a place or event? I don't get it. There's rules of dress for pretty much everywhere and everything you do. Sometimes it's as simple as no shirt, no shoes, no service, to complex as black tie events. Point being here is you follow dress codes at work, at school, in life in general. It's not always what you want to be wearing, but you do it. Why is it that when a club decides that they want to have a dress code that it's the end of the world for some people? Just because you're not in the most comfortable clothes you own doesn't mean you can't be comfortable and conform to the dress code.

And in all honesty, I don't think this will really be "dressed up", and more importantly, places like Europe have much more importance on how you look to get into a club, so I don't think it will really phase Armin at all.

**edit** That said, I think the only person that even mentioned dress code was there on a weekend, weren't they? What was the type of crowd? Young, mature, etc. This makes a huge difference as to what the people would be wearing, and given that it's part of the casino/hotel as well. Given the Wednesday party, I would imagine the dress code would be somewhat more relaxed than what is on a weekend. Sometimes, I wish places like Guv would require people to keep their shirt ON, but I'm just splitting hairs now.
