Don't worry, the goalkeeper didn't stand a chance today against Germany.
They were certainly playing very well in the first half, Ballack scored on a great header, precisely crossed by Schweinsteiger, then later on Schweinsteiger took a freekick which he scored on and the game ended 3-0 after another goal by the germans.
Great overall performance, but this is just a friendly game.

Ecuador ed up yesterday against Macedonia.
Macedonia was playing without their biggest stars, Goran Pandev (Lazio), Aleksander Vasoski (Eintracht Frankfurt), Nikolce Noveski (Mainz 05) and Aleksandar Mitreski (FC Köln).
Ecuador on the other hand was playing with a pretty expected team in this game. Neicer Reasco played instaed of Ulises De la Cruz and that was the only small surprise in this starting eleven.
Carlos Tenorio scored a very nice goal, while Macedonia scored twice afterwards.
Carlos Tenorio got injured and may miss the World Cup. |

Our comentators said Croatia played better and Poland were happy to score.
I don't really know what to expect from Poland this cup. The group is piss poor easy (in fact right now i'd rate it as this year's mickey mouse group, weaker even than our group D), and they're playing right next to home, but I don't see them going further than last 16. |

Poland was better yesterday.
They were playing smart defensively and scored the only goal. The croatians had a couple of oppurtunities, but didn't manage to get the ball into the net.. |

| Can anyone tell me why Germany (the host) is opening the tournament? I have not been following soccer changes and players as well as I used to when I was younger. I always remember the Champion playing first and the upset that followed. Thanks |
