can someone explain to me how the greece managed to win euro over spain, portugal, england, germany, holland, U12 girls luxembourg teams?
i think australia need to be careful next month of quick counter-attacking teams, but theyre playing fine soccer tnite. very aggressive without being silly. they could well be giant-killers.
no wonder youre not in the finals greece. |

Tactical discipline. They do exactly what their German manager tells them, very well and the German 'efficiency' paid off. :) |

| the greek side that one the euro is a very different side to the one that's playing tonight. i posted an article about the fall from grace that greece had following the euro a while ago. i think it's on the fifa or world cup website. very interesting how dynamics can change within the space of 6-12 months. |

Though the second half was a little disappointing, they looked really good when they managed to hold the ball and string a few passes together

yeah, i spose so. didnt see much of euro coz of lack of pay tv (i only caught the dutch & english games) but considering the squad was 9 players the same, i certainly expected more tnite.
australia were all over them in every department imo. the aussies should be well pleased with how they played. i know i was very impressed :) |
