yeah! today i've got my two JP-8000 from ebay! is there any midii cc documentation (e.g. like in the nordlead3 manual) available for DL? i'm really amazed, the sound is _MUCH_ better and fatter and smoother than in SW emulations like superwave or superwave performer. can't wait till my 3rd JP-8000 will be shipped :-)

it all began 3 weeks ago, as i bought a nordlead3 at my local music store. after many years of working with plugins only (and a lame kawai k1 II as "masterkeyboard"), i was surprised about the excellent sound and the fun creating sounds with the cool interface. so i decided to replace the superwave p8/performer with a real jp-8000, too! the day the jp-8000 was shipped i completely fell in love with his sound - the superwave plugin is really no competition to this, the real jp-8000 sounds so much better! in the evening, i kept playing with the JP, while drinking 2 (or 3...) glasses of red wine. that was the moment i bought the other 2 JPs in ebay stores :D :D :D

but i don't regret it. i think i will use 2 of them in the studio and the 3rd one as "backup" :D

then again, for the price of 3 JP's, you could have a TI which does a lot more than 3 JP's.
Derivative
Only if you know how to use it.

If you don't it might as well be a very big paper weight...
