to say that Tiesto is a better producer than PvD is wrong. PvDs old discography contains some amazing productions. Both alone and together with others.

Both Tiesto and PvD have shown really poor skills during the last couple of years. Just Be was a cheesy crap album just as Reflections.

So no. None of them can claim to be the front figures of trance music today.

+1, they've both got some good and bad productions over the years.

not sure, didn't find a set with the track in it...just heard a version of that track that was ripped from a set (either live or soundgarden, not sure)

Anyone noticed how the bassline in this track is almost identical to the bassline in 'The Egg - Walking Away (Tocadisco Remix)'? Which is a track Paul has been canning for awhile.

I think this track is very good especially vocals, unfortunately i believe its a harder version of the egg - walking away. The other track ive heard of pvds newer works sounds pretty in hot though - stormy skies. Very impressed.

ya, if anyone could upload a sample of this, that'd be great!

I havnt heard it but id say that maybe he has put the bassline over the top of this track, whatever it may be.

I haven't heard the song personally, but I'm commenting on a few other posts in this thread. Personally, I liked Reflections overall, in spite of a couple low points of the album that I wasn't really feeling (such as "Never Forget" and "Knowledge"). But my all time fave artist album of his is Out There and Back. Nothing can top that. I thought it was even better than Seven Ways.

lets see how pvd's next artist album will be. I'm really existed because he said that he has produced a track that he considers to be better than "for an angel".. not sure but I think pvd said this in an interview.

yeah it's true, and that new track he mentioned is called "Stormy Skies".

I didnīt want to explain anything, mate. Itīs true, Tiesto uses engineers and I have a suspicion he used them everytime he had to produce anything. PvD, yet a bit cheesy right now, is still most prolly the only man behind his tracks. Heīs originally a passionate musician, great piano player with extremely sensitive feeling for music and harmonies. Thatīs the biggest difference between him and Tijs.

And for me, PvD knows 100 times better than Tiesto how to move the crowd, he never dissapoints me. Yeah, iīm full of feelings, heard Paul live two days ago and he totally rocked, but i would say this anytime.
