if you were listening to the biggest dance tracks of 1998 in that year.. the e-werk mix was far above anything else out there and absolutely amazing. it's definitely special regardless of how many times paul overplays that or marc van linden's 'this is boring re-edit'!

Just listening to this track now, does anyone else think that the beat behind the singing sounds exactly the same as the egg - walking away (tocadisco rmx)??? Seriously biggest rip off ever!!

I saw an ableton demostration where this guy put a james brown tune with a progressive bassline, then I think ableton automatically matches both songs

Gotcha! Interested to hear the track without the trickery then.

yup yup, he is keeping people wondering and that way no one can really rip it, they would be ripping something different from the original

Or he can't think of a decent bassline yet so he borrowed someone else's until he gets a good one :)

i just think the bassline isn't finished yet and he uses that one instead, i remember him doing it with the other side too.

yeah,,,and he did the same with his remix of "say hello", I remember that his release was kind of different from the version he was playing on his sets
