WOW this is the first time i have seen a post where the MAJORITY of people defend Tiesto....GOOD JOB.....i agree NOONE is perfect and with ALL of Tiesto's briliant sets he is in NOWAY losing anything because of 1 or 2 crappy sets.....

the first time ive heard him he ed up a few mixes and that and i wasnt that impressed.. 2nd time i saw him he was really good.. my conclusion? he is human. tiesto has good & bad nights like anyone else, he is not a god.. he can play the best set in the world one night and be distinctly average the next. one thing he lacks is a bit of consistancy.. :)

I wonder, what kind of tracks does Tiesto spin nowadays?

Has he switched to prog, or does he still spin uplifting?
Also, if he still does some uplifting, what are some examples - does he keep up with the new epic/uplifting releases?

Basically, if I went to see Tiesto tonight, what would I expect? :)

crap, what the hell are we talking about? stop for a second and listen to yourselves----> this discussion is pointless! basically, we are arguing if tiesto stinks because he screwed up two or three tracks... :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: this is naive!
flame me now...

don't get me wrong.. im not saying he sucks - i was just a little disappointed, i know he is a very gifted producer and I have heard good sets from him and I do own the Summerbreeze CD - so I have seen the true MaGiK of tiesto..

so maybe he should take it easy on the coke :stongue:

I've seen him live TWICE dude. once at a 20,000+ person rave and once at a 1,500 person club.

at the rave he kicked ass...at the club he sucked.

Let me get this straight. A DJ is allowed to make some mistakes and still be considered the best? I disagree with this notion.

I thought to be the best, one had to be perfect in what he or she does. Making mistakes either means not enough practice or faulty equipment. Coming from a musical perspective, Yo-Yo Ma plays flawlessly at his concerts. Pavoratti doesn't screw up when he sings "o solo mio." When one is great, their craft becomes a part of them. It then becomes impossible to mess with. So, Tiesto is on his way to becoming the best if he can find a little more consistency. Afterall, we can't blame him for a bad sound system he shouldn't be playing on in the first place
