good to see that people read the praise and critisms on here.
As for dismissing all ditractors as armchair djs. Thats a bit arrogant. So what about all those who support you? Are they also armchair djs? By his summation id say the answer is yes.
If this guy were serious hed accept both praise and critism equally by saying "i guess you cant please everyone, but my fans like what i do so i am satisfied"

lol, my comment had nothing to do with what I personally thought of Tiesto. I was acknowledging what he said because face it - even if you don't like him (which I'm guessing you don't) - the fact that thousands of cheap shots are taken at him on a daily basis is irrefutable. I believe jon jon himself noted something along the lines of 'when Tiesto brings his A-game, no one can touch him..' I realize it's 'cool' to hate on Tiesto for an assortment of reasons, only one of which was a number #1 status that was VOTED upon by people.. but it's getting pretty old. And this is coming from someone who barely paid any attention to him in the first place. , move on. PVD's number one now - shouldn't we all be whining about his lack of crowd interaction? |

i never liked him fromt he beginning... even before it was "cool" to do so.

Tiesto's A game when it comes to mixing is comparable to a Sasha performance where both his arms are tied behind his back.Tiesto also plays the equivalent of EDM "mmmm bop" material.When you mix tracks that dont break any new ground with abbleton and do a job, that says alot.Zabiela was an "armchair" dj too, although he can actually key match and beatmatch.Hating on tiesto is fun, because he is like The Backstreet Boys.You know his shows are all gonna be packed, but the people there are more interested in sizzle than steak.
That and i want to pick a fight with Swamper.:thepirate

Hah, it's cool that he's apparently back "on top" setwise/track listing. (makes me almost wish I were at the Docks). The thing is his mixing style used to be decent/normal but now he just is REALLY inconsistant. (hence his comments on the interview he did while out in the far East with regards to using ableton and it not being for him, his mixing is not smooth, it's harsh, sudden and abrupt) I hope it changes.
