Only tracks I know of were Sexy As and Click. Erin went madd crazy at both of them and txtd me. :p
He played till 5:30 though, so you know there were a whole lot more. Erin usually makes incredibly uber detailed and picture laden reviews though. Just keep your eyes peeled. |

| I usually don't bother giving reviews to e-tards... but I thought he rocked it. It was surprsing when he played Sweet Dreams, and cut off the sound... the crowd sang the verses. Definitely alot more people there for the music this time, then opening wknd. He dropped a couple ID's that were crazy. And he was going crazy in booth, I even thought I saw 1/2 an Oakenfold pose during one of the buildups.... |

Listen to his T-Mobile set from Memorial Day weekend. He did the same thing. |

i thought he rocked it too! then again, a lot of the people posting negative reviews aren't really swedish house lovers...so their opinion doesn't mean too much.
anyway, pacha was sooo good to me and my friends! we got there around 11:45ish and after telling them our names for the guestlist, they allowed us to cut the line and go in. it was weird they did that considering the line was for guestlist too...but i was happy nonetheless! we get in and pacha seemed pretty sweet. nothing spectacular, but by the end of the night the whole vibe made me love the place. we ordered 3 redbull + vodkas and it came to be $45...that's nothing new, since in DC it's pretty much the same thing BUT the drinks were soooo weak! at least here in dc, you can get a pretty good buzz off a rbv...but whatever, things worked out. todd gardner was doing his thing on the decks, definitely a nice opener to get the crowd pumped for steve.
i was dancing with my friends and finally saw steve in the dj booth...i was super excited and wanted to grab a picture with him before he went on. my friends and i went up to the booth and the girl who works at pacha (who was cool as - carrie?) let us just chill in there for the remainder of the night. it was pretty fun to get a good look at steves cdr's which were right next to me...as well as smoke in the booth (i hate going to ny where i can't smoke in clubs!) and of course free booze. he came on at 130ish and spun till about 5:45. i knew he always came to clubs before his set, but he said his flight was delayed and didn't get in till 11:30. steve was a pretty chill guy...i got to talk to him for a long time after the set which made my night even more. we were even gonna head over to crobar for afterhours but it was pretty late so we opted not to.
i was sad i didn't get to see any ta's....i thought ya'll were gonna be there!!! ehh whatever though, i had a SICK time regardless...one of the best clubbing nights for me ever i must say. some trainspots were:
sexy as
click
gypsy woman- angello remix [encore]
sweet dreams
what else is there (trentemoller remix)
teasing mr. charlie
the drill
doh...i know there's a lot more that i know but i did know his set was a lot different than i expected. when i saw axwell a month ago at bed, i knew EVERY song he played. steve def switched it up a bit and i didn't think his track selection was stale by any means. the song before gypsy woman had some sick female vocals that just killed the place...i need to get an ID on that asap!
i took a lot of pictures of steve since he was right next to me/in front of me the whole night but they are on my friends camera. i will post them as soon as i can! i got some funny ones- the pose where he sticks his tongue out and him chugging vodka...which i thought was hilarious because it was swedish vodka. haha.
all in all a fantastic night, can't wait to see him ON MY BIRTHDAY here in dc! w00t! :D |
