ya wtf happend to free before midnight?
is that kicked for good? barely worked last week for dubfire..had to bring like 2 other people to get comped
crobars gettin cheapy cheapy now..dont even like the venue that much to tell ya the truth i think it sucks compared to pacha (which i havent been but been to the old SF for pvd in 02 also been told its 10x better then crobar venue wise which i dont doubt) or spirit or even small clubs like love or cielo. lights suck, system is allright and the no seats anywhere on main floor is just a pain in the ass.
never the less..ill be there regardless. can't miss sasha and satoshi together!. to bad lavelle's opening, that guys awful. dunno what there thinking. |

I have never seen Sasha have a comp before midnight @ Crobar on the regular guestlists. I think the same applies for Deep Dish. Generally, I think the DJs that are $30 presale aren't, the ones that are $20 presale are comped before midnight. For instance, Sander is $20 presale the week afterwards, so I'm guessing it's free b4 midnight. I think they've just had a string of more expensive DJs (Dubfire, DT this weekend, and Sasha the next)
Also, I may be wrong, but I don't think that free b4 midnight promotion was happening in 2004. Barosoap handled lists for us and she knew a few people, so we comps sometimes, but I still remember paying something many times, and before that, I was paying door prices week to week because I was uninformed about guestlists and the forums.

Oh lord, yet another good party that I'm going to miss --- the summer will pass in this way... you guys mentioning great parties, and me bitching about having to miss them.

Barosoap used to drive down from Cornell nearly every weekend to go clubbing here, even while school was in session. You could try that, it'd just consume a lot of time and gas. |

Ah, but I'm stuck working weekends now... so it'll be tough to take time off (I'm still not even sure if I'll be able to make it for AvB in Tobacco Warehouse). |
