LOL you are making it seem like the 18 year olds decide how many of them can get into crobar.
Thats Crobar's choice, they could easily sell 2000 tickets to the 18+ people and the experience would probably be just as good as a 21+ event. crobar decides to sell as many as possible. |

yeah Pat, u really should...last time when I couldnt get into Tiesto (yeah BIG surprise there) decided to hit up LOVE. Talk about a place which has it all: Great vibe and atmosphere, no egos, great SOUND. Drinks are kinda pricey but they are expensive at all venues. |

+1. I was going to say the same thing in response to phoenixbebe's post. We saw Sasha @ Cielo and it was less crowded than any of his Crobar gigs as far as I can recall. Granted we had to pay off a bouncer and wait forever in line before...
Concerts sell out all the time. I'm kind of pissed I can't see Radiohead or Tool, but at least when i get lucky enough to get tickets, I can fully enjoy the experience. |

I will definitely check it out :) too bad you're not coming out for sasha....you should come up to boston at some point this summmer |

ugh radiohead tickets are impossible. i ended up with 6 sigur ros tickets when the search was for radiohead in boston! there was like a two minute window to buy em, if that... and it's very ish of them to sell other shows when you search for something specific!
back to topic... crowds will sucks ass but sasha won't. this is the CLOSER.. i wouldn't miss it for the world. LOVED his closing party last year... will remember it for a long time to come... really looking forward to seeing satoshi as guest too |

Regardless, I was there last week. And the crowd was terrible. It was packed and not a very cool crowd. I'm assuming this week will be more of the same. I hope I'm wrong. But I've never gone to a Sasha show at Crobar and enjoyed myself. Always way too crowded. I get the point that it's not JUST the 18+. But that certainly adds to the negatives. |

crobars gettin cheapy cheapy now..dont even like the venue that much to tell ya the truth i think it sucks compared to pacha (which i havent been but been to the old SF for pvd in 02 also been told its 10x better then crobar venue wise which i dont doubt) or spirit or even small clubs like love or cielo. lights suck, system is allright and the no seats anywhere on main floor is just a pain in the ass.
never the less..ill be there regardless. can't miss sasha and satoshi together!. to bad lavelle's opening, that guys awful. dunno what there thinking. |
