Anyone in Southwestern Ontario, please be safe out today, there is a major thunderstorm happening in the K/W and Guelph areas, with possible tornado activity.
The warning was posted by Environment Canada at 3:09 pm

The severe weather is in my backyard where I just mowed down an army of chives with our WeedEater... in hell I was blind for 5 minutes.
Note: Chives are a member of the onion family, hence the crying blindness. |

We had these warnings up here last night/afternoon...
freaking moth-ball sized HAIL! INTENSE downpour... but it was all good when I left for RHill around 8pm.
But THIS MORNING, right about Newmarket on the 400, HOLY JESUS !
The rain came down SO HARD I _honestly_ could barely drive or see the world in front of me... it was ing shocking and semi-scary....
I wish my car had a whipper setting much much faster than its max! The whole 400 like slowed down to 60km/h! it was an other worldly experience. Alot of cars pulled over onto the shoulder and had stopped. I was debating on doing this at a couple points.
There was just no way I was leaving that right-most lane...
Luckily it only lasted 5-10 mins tops... happened 2x...
At 7am when ur still tired and drunk from the previous night, this was NOT IDEAL for me to handle! |

Rain, no rain, storm, no storm... it's been back and forth here for 3 hours like this... i look out my bedroom window to the west, all I see is dark grey clouds. Not impressive, let me tell you.
please, all, be safe outside! this warning goes into 'evening', whatever that maybe to the Weather Network |
