pics are up - 2 pages worth.

unfortunately I got there too late to see any of Blake's set.. the Johnny Walker thing got out around 11:30 and then I parked in the loop and walked to Vision. :<

I will write more later.. from LA. :)

ok wtf. I never do this. I am all packed for LA and ready to go - and now I have 3 hours to kill!!! I guess its ok.

Last night was great. Unfortuately missed Blake's set. Enjoyed what I heard of Mike's set and also got some good pix of him. It was my first time seeing Matthew Dekay. I really loved his set - I have heard his remixes and productions and was expecting something more along the lines of that - but similarly to the Markus experience, Dekay played at a noticeably higher bpm and energy than I was expecting - and at one point I could swear he was playing what could be called "trance" in certain circles. :) The vibe was very strong last night. Vision has blown me away for the past events - hell the past couple of years. I really can't remember the last time I like, had a BAD time there. Props to the Pure crew and all others associated, along w/ Vision as a club - its a great thing going on there.

The music ended just as he started playing a KICK ASS track - one of the few I recognized.... :< U2 - Staring at the Sun (Dave Seaman Rmx)... it was amazing to hear it start in... felt similar to when I heard SvD's rmx of S.O.S. start in last weekend. But then it was shutdown not even about 1 minute into it. Oh well.

Great seeing and hanging out w/ everyone.

You stole my line! :D

Sorry for missing the set Blake, didn't make it on time since I had to go across the city to get my brother to the train, but great to hang out with you & the whole crew. Good tracks & mixing from Mr. Khoury once again!

Dekay is hands down one of my favorites and once again loved every track he played. To steal the Sasha line "He mixes better than Ableton."

We're still doing afters and just wrapped up a killer set.
