What makes someone memorable to you?

If you meet many people say in your line of work or social gatherings in general, what makes you remember a person? Something they say? Something they do?
Have you ever had a person pop into your mind for no reason at all and think of them and say oh I remember that person they did __________ or they were________. |

what a dumb question. it could be like a zillion answers.
obviously if they do something unique or have a really quirky personality that makes me laugh or something. and if they're hot. duh.. |
