I dont agree w/ the lying. You dont need to advertise, but would you lie if asked directly. Dont think thats entirely right, no matter your reasons.
Maybe decline and just say "It's none of your business", then you're not outright lying.

coming home after a party and being able to face family and chill and chat with them or going to family functions without any sleep from the night before from partying (and noone seems to notice how tired or sketchy you look) |
