23 is done, though I hardly solved it.

Answer >> if you go to google and click "I'm Feeling Lucky" in a search for elgoog, you will returin a satirical google mirror that actually presents google and it's results in a visually mirrored image. The first word on the source of this page is cache, and logic should lead you to ehcac.htm, cache backwards, the way elgoog would present it. How you ask? Well, there is an egg page (a page that is not the right answer but provides further information) on this page that tells you you will need the first word of a page's source. I did not find this egg. However, I have been using the hint forums. These forums are spoilerless hint forums
(http://www.createphpbb.com/neutralr...m=neutralriddle) that provide extra hints. I was able to decode the f**** w*** entries there to figure out I had to use the first word. So I cheated :( If anyone know how to access the other egg sites for this level (I got elgoog.htm), I'd love to see them)

Hint: Basically, I cheated. Theres a couple egg sites youll have to find to get this one...The above link will lead you to a spoilerless hint forum

Level 24 Answer: The numbers in the picture filename obviously correspond to letters on the numberpad of a phone. had to sit and look at it for a while, ended up with 'atmosphere'

EDIT> Level 25 answer: you gotta find the other pieces of the puzzle. source tells you to go to the index, (its referrign to the index where the PICTRE is, thats /lvl25/ so go there(same as /lvl25/index.htm) and you'll see 2 pics, view source tells you to go to jigsaw.htm, 2 more pics. if you view the filenames you'll realise you got forwards and backwards versions of the filenames, and you dont have puzzle.jpg yet, so get that. the other 2 i dunno, but i solved it anyway (arranging the pieces in paint..."the answer i_ trade_man" obviously tradesman

26 is done

Answer >> Using Firefox, save the image. change the extention to .txt (tea ex tre). Open this and scroll to the bottom to be pointed to friendship.htm.

Hint >> make like Jesus and change this file into tea extreme

27 done

Answer >> Open the source. You will get a list of elements from the periodic table. Mark these elements off to reveal the word slide, as in, slide.htm
See:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v713/tribu/level27Solution.jpg

Hint >> Get out your sharpies

28 Answer >> The first picture, of a graph is titled screeentwentyeight.jpg. correct the typo to reveal a spanish english dictionary. Going back to the graph, you have three points with x,y values: 3,1; 5, 20; 12,1. Plugging these values into the spanish abecedario yields the letters CAESLA, an anagram in spanish for escala, as in escala.htm

Hint : View your source, review basic geometry, and use those well honed skills.

29 Answer >> I googled hurricane 2004 which brought up several results, the first if which showed the path of all the hurricanes that hit in Aug 2004. This path corresponded to Charely, as in charley.htm

hint >> combine all your visual clues.

30 Answer >> title says no math so you basically put all the letters together, in order to spell flashlight as in flashlight.htm

Hint > This one is a freebee
tribu
31 Answer >> Unlike the last level, this one requires the use of math, specifically, a graphing calculator. Graph each function and it will (EXTREMELY) roughly form a letter. Together, it spells union, as in union.html.

Hint > you're going to need a graphing calculator. And, check the source

32 Answer >> nc3 is the best wa toy avoid mate, and you can actually play yourself into a bishop and rook with it and some luck. nc3.htm

Hint: You only have to write one move, from the point of black.

if anyone wants to pickup where I left off on 33 >> Untwirl the picture (in PS Filters > Distort ...around 580 I think), which reveals Invert and xifinv. I inverted the picture and the text was more legible but thats all....neither word worked....any ideas?

i just got to work and as soon as i get stuff taken care of im going to start back up.
tribu
33 Answer >> Save this picture and open it in Photoshop. Using the twirl Filter (Filter > Distort > twirl) untwirl the picture until you reveal two strings: invert amd xlfihv. You will have to untwirl just the right amount to get it, and even then, some guess work is needed; the 600 range is close to right. Go to xlfihv.htm and the source will tell you to invert the letters (a=z, b=y, etc.) You will get course, as in course.htm.

Hint >> you're going to need photoshop and alot of patience. The number 600 might help you out.

34 Answer >> Note that the picture is called exif.jpg. EXIF, or Exchangeable Image File Format, is a standard part of digital images that containe information on the source of the image, keywords, and other helpful tidbits. Open the EXIF information in photoshop (File > File Info), and ignore the red herrings under 'general'. Instead, look under keywords to find the words seat and plan, an anagram for pleasant, as in pleasant.htm

Hint: The name of the image is most important here.

35 >> Answer The image pictured is called adjective.jpg and the title of the level is grammar, so you need to find images relating to other parts of speech. Aside from adjective, you will need: noun, verb, adver, preposition, and article.jpg. Eash one of these will give you a part of a whole picture. Use photoshop to put it all together; the easiest way I found is to choose one as a base, magic wand the black out, paste it onto your base, copy the rest of the image out and use your open spaces to align the parts. When together, it will spell ancient, as in ancient.htm.

See:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v713/tribu/level35Solution.jpg if you want to see it all pieced together.

Hint: get out your beginner's guide to grammar and follow the pattern as usual.

36 >> Answer Opening the source, you can see an image map with this image that leads you to nextlevel.htm regardless of where you click. unfortunately, this is not right and our true solution lies within the map. Simply put, the uncovered areas spell out cloud, as in cloud.htm
See:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v713/tribu/level36Solution.jpg if you want to see what the covered areas look lile. I outlined the letters (very poorly) in PS

Hint: An image map allows you to specify certain parts of the image as a link.

37 >> Answer Half a dime is di, as in digitally imported, or di.htm.

Hint : If you're really struggling with this one, please just look at the above answer.

38 Answer >> In the source, you find numbers commented on a few lines. Take that number of the character from the tag name, starting from both sides. So, on <><> you take the T (2nd from left) and M, 2nd from right. This will give you the letters T E A M M A E T, an easy anagram for teammate.htm (if you take the left charcters, then the right ones).

Hint >> You should always take what is given to you.

39 Answer >> Take the frequencies and convert them to Hz by eliminating the decimal points. You will have this series : 294 330 349 440 261 330. Each of these numbers, in Hz, corresponds with with a note in a linear musical scale (A Bb B C C#, etc). 440Hz is the current international standard for A over middle C, and that happens to be one of our numbers, so 440 =A. Using the forumla: 440 * 2^(x/12) = the Value you want to decode, solve for x to determine how many steps you are away from A. For example, when decoding 349, x solves to -4. Thus the note in question is 4 notes backwards(because negative) from A : F. Do this for all 6 values to reveal deface, as in deface.htm.

Hint >> Do what the title says. What could your result mean? A scientific calculator is a must.

40 >> Answer Notice in the source that the image is a jpe. There are actually three jpeg formats: *.jpg, *.jpe, *.jpeg with different types of compression. searching the image with these reveals Brazil's flag as the 5th and canada's as the 2nd. THis refers to where they rank in terms of land mass. The htm title was 6th? The 6th largest country in that list is Australia, as in australia.htm.

Hint: Look closely at the source. What might your new data describe?
tribu
I wasn't gonna bump this, but I am dying on 41. Im very close to the answer. I have: been to source.htm, and I've looked at the exif information on both images. I know you have to build the source code for level 41, and I have done so (http://www.thecafebourbonstreet.com/41.htm ), but I can't figure out how to apply the coordinates. I initially thought an image map, but the coordinates are all packed into a tiny aresa in the upper left and dont reveal anything.

Anyone have any ideas? Is anyone besides me still playing?

Omega_Blue
i got to level seven and quit.
dj_alfi
wow, 39 was hard.. youve gotta be a genious to find it out.. i got it right away tho, but C for effort tribu :D
