But no, i think to control time is more of an undeserved and presumptuous wish...then again, so is flying (since no human has ever been recorded of doing so), but yeah...i'd prefer to fly, without wings, no doubt. |

Not really - if you paused time, there would be no movement: except yours, in this for usability's sake. This would make any sort of penetration impossible, given the fact that anything would be solid as a rock. In fact, if you pause time and there's no movement, then ignoring inertia (and the immediate destruction of Earth if it suddenly stopped), it would be freezing.
Unless, of course, the remote exclusively froze everyone else's perception of time. In such case, you'd be able to have sex, but hundreds of people would die (in airplanes and cars, for example) for that. Also, rewinding and fast-forwarding would become even more complicated.
That being said, and given the fact that I was not given a bloody manual, I want to fly. |
