My dad's view of reality would fit in somewhere around 1970

Right now he's watching Chris Rock doing some standup, and I'm worried he's going to send a letter saying that there's too much swearing

my pop is in the 30's.... super old school italian.

my mom was a disco diva and still dances to the occasional earth wind & fire VINYL

The middle ages mixed in with the 50s, even though they were just young children in the 50s...they always say that life was so much better in the 50s but they really grew up in the 60s. And then they have these attitudes, especially my mom, towards like going to church and she thinks i'm going to go to hell for missing church some sundays...what a joke. I dunno if I should take her seriously or not, but I do...because I know my mom...

Perhaps the better question is when will our kids claim our attitudes were frozen?

I'm glad to say my mom isn't stuck in any time period, she just goes along as time progresses, listens to new music, watches new TV shows, etc.

My dad is stuck in the 60's and 70's music wise. Attitude wise its more complex. My mom well its really hard to categorize i guess she's everchanging and not stuck. I guess im pretty lucky my parent's attitudes didnt get frozen in time.

I should say my dad was probably stuck in the 70s - 80s, seeing as he kept a large collection of disco vinyls that he mixed with a basic 2 slider mixer without EQs. ;)

Both of my parents, my dad especially, is a combination of every generation from '62 until now. My mom is more in the current generation, though.
