Hmm.
I know some djs doing gigs who are in their late teens.
And some who are in their late 20's and mid 30's.
The younger ones are pretty good and have been known to play amazing sets but the older dj's have the consistency and really know how to fill a dancefloor. The younger ones tend to lose steam sometimes when they dont get a good response from the crowd and start banging out the big tunes to no avail. The older, more experienced dj's know how to just tease you here and there... get your foot tapping and head nodding before dropping a big tune to get you off your feet. Especially the ones who have stuck to the same sound for years. They know their music inside out.
I guess anyone can dj but it take experience to really become a good dj.
EDIT: I'm 25 btw. started when i was 18. then off and on till now. |
