^^^ sounds like a good book!
I am reading when Rabbit Howls by Truddi Chase. It's a biography about a woman who was sexually molested by her stepfather from 2 until about 16. She has almost 90 multiple personalities and no concept of time and certain events in her life. Truddi Chase didn't write the book herself because her psychiatrist says at age 2 the real Truddi Chase went into hiding and "the troops" these multiple personalities emerged.
Great book if you are interested in psychiatry, multiple personalities or just psychology. |

+1 :toocool:
Other books by Gibson are :
Count Zero
All Tommorrow's Parties
Pattern Recognition
Other SF books that come to my mind now.
the Ender's saga by Orson Scott Card ,last time i check they were like 5 books, i read the first 4, i'm sure a lot of you gonna like this . it is about this dude Ender that is the smartest human, it is set in the future, humans barely survive an alien invasion 100 years ago and they fabricated this superheroe to be the commander of the human troops in the comming war. there is a lot of smart dialog in this novel, one of my favorites is like in the second or third book when two alien species are talking about what is inteligence, lots of good ideas , this is a must read.
There is this other dude Iain M. Banks that they say is the new Gibson , i just started reading Consider Phlebas, it already hook me in the first pages, it is well writen and the story amazing. the druggies around here will find interesing this beings that have glands capables of synthesizing any drug at will and live in the ultimate high all the time :-).
I'm alive and you are dead. A journey into the mind of Philip K Dick. by Emmanuel Carrere. This book is not a gem but interesting anyways. Philip K Dick is a famous sf writter, he did all kind of drugs (speed junki) and had the craziest ideas ever. Here is a link to one of PKD stories online, a short one:
