Sick of the usual suspects

Come on in and give your opinion on the subject.
I find that I get so bored of the "usual" trance tracks these days. Now Im find my self looking more and more towards progressive and house sounds. But who to listen to.
Please post your recommendations on who to check out and which sets or productions to listen to.

| progressive house....hell I did'nt realize they made anything good anymore because I never really listened to many sets, I have in the last 4 weeks and I've missed nothing. Minimal Tech house and boring minimal electro, with no nastiness is sweeping clubland. Hell even PvD's Colourfest set was awful.....ffs....what's happening...first Digweed plays e, now PvD.... |

Breaks is on fire these days lots of fresh sounds & ideas, something that most trance tracks these days are starving for. Progressive house is also full of lots of great new stuff. Some great electro tunes as well to add some variety into the mix.
For some real enrichment though I recommend doing what I did.. start listening to Ozzy & Iron Maiden!

Listen to J00f to start with.
Also try stuff like Son Kite, Jaia, Atmos, Antix, NASA and other artists like that. Progpsy stuff is what you need. |
