You must listen to a very small, select amount of minimal.

Yes. Those were only few I know, though I'm not a wise man of minimal :)

*listening Isolée - Western Store atm*

I'm still not very sure what minimal is, I've listened to a Villalobos set and he was good, also some Paul Woolford, are those guys minimal? If so, I like:D

Can you guys recommend some DJs and songs?

Minmal rocks! Minimal isn't supposed to be played one record at a time, there should be multiple records spinning at once so a new record is implied, that's the whole point!

DJ's to listen to Are Richie Hawtin, Sven Vath, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, John Tejada, Loco Dice.

I thought they were techno, and as for Loco Dice or whatever he's called I had a mix cd by him and it was the biggest pile of poop ive ever listened to.

I don't disagree with everything in the interview - I find a lot of minimal somewhat boring, but to write an entire genre of music off in one sentence is pretty close minded.

Personally though, I will say that I hope this whole slide to the minimal side of things eases up a bit - I just don't enjoy playing minimal stuff out live.

Richie hawtin play's a variety of stuff these days, but most sets that go about on the net are pretty downtempo and minimal.

I've seen him playing three times recently and he's always kept it interesting at sonar he played a lot of quality techno tracks.

As for the loco dice cd, I hope your not meaning the green and blue one on cocoon - cos it's quality.:)
