Honestly, I think people who at some point in their life randomly decide to just 'pick' another name because no one can pronounce their current one are sellouts. You were born with a name that your parents gave you, and you should stick with it. Have you no pride in your Russian heritage? So what if people can't pronounce the name. Educate them on how its pronounced. Or he can just be called "G"
Btw, in my country, everyone who is named Alexandar is never called that, but is called Sasha :) Is it the same in Russia? |
