Europe's biggest rail station has only one toilet.
Operators of Europe's largest railway station have admitted their mistake in building only one set of toilets.
Passengers at Berlin's new £480-million train station have already been complaining about the queues for the loos.
About 30 000 people use the new multi-level station each day and it has also attracted visits from shoppers and tourists.
Station spokesperson Holger Auferkamp admitted the lack of washroom facilities was a problem, in particular for women.
"We realise there is a problem and are now planning to build a second set of toilets as quickly as possible," he said. - Ananova.com

| Since we are on the topic of toilets in Europe, has anyone noticed the sorry state of affairs at Frankfurt airport ? Jesus...smallest toilets u'll ever find. The toilet allows only 1 (one) person in at a time. Others who wish to pee need to stand outside in a line !! :wtf: :wtf: Incredibly stupid!!! I mean, wtf ? can't you guys make bigger toilets ?? This is the frankfurt airport not some national park camping site :whip: :whip: :whip: |

Toilets in Germany are like heaven compared to those in Ireland.
Literally, the entire of the main street of Cork is served by one set of toilets. Most shops are too small to have to put them in. |

| i like the idea of urinals on the sides of teh streets in amsterdam... that was a brilliant idea... the US should adopt that,.. but one thing that sucks about parts of Europe is that you have to pay to use the pisser, i guess that was what caused people to piss in the street when also then might have brought on the urinals in the streets :D |
