(warning: this is a weird thread) Is anyone here synesthetic?

I was just curious as to which colors or sensations synesthetic people associate with certain tracks. I was having a discussion earlier about the subject and wether or not sensations were universal to a degree or completely subjective.
For instance, here's some tracks that evoke some pretty strong synesthetic reactions for me:
Tiesto - Traffic -> dark blue
The Thrillseekers - synesthesia (yes I realise the irony ;) ) -> bright pink
Qursion - Attraction (MK-S remix) -> slightly darker shade of pink
Origene - Sanctuary -> light brown/orange
Jose Amnesia - The Eternal -> medium blue
Astral Projection - Mahadeva (John '00' Fleming remix) -> dark purple
Midway - Amazon -> medium green |

Unless all sounds evoke visual senses, then you don't have synaesthesia.
EDIT: And to avoid the pedantic replies, synaethesia is not limited to visual responses, nor is it to sounds evoking responses. |

about 90-95% of sounds evoke sensations, some visual, some not, it's just that the visual ones seem more intense. For instance, most full on psy makes me feel cold, but doesn't really remind me of any specific color (except maybe grey - but that's sort of a lack of color isn't it?). I realise most people feel this to a degree, but a small portion of them has it in pretty intensely, such as myself, to a point where sometimes the enduced sensation feels almost as real as the sound itself. :nervous: |

that's really weird; and really cool
i wish i had it to see what its like
when i listen to music, i have insanely strong flashbacks to the period in my life when i most listened to the song..but i figure everyone has that; they say sound is one of the best memory instigators |

Actually, Traffic is sub-black. It is sooo black, it makes black look pale. Oh, and there are totaly pitch-black trolls jumping inside that color vacuum to the evil sound of Traffic.
Deep Blue Sea - navy blue with foamy white, but when it goes to the "bridge" part, it turns to bright white spots - like starlight reflected from ocan waves.... dig? :) |
