June 2006 mix - DJ Metatron - Absolute [progressive trance] (pg. 3)

This mix is really good, the first half for me was very chill which i liked, going into circa really toped it for me, i was like hell yeah. Your mixing and transitioning are still up to par, and your eq skills are just plain nasty. i also liked your selection of tunes, i didn't relize the potential of the tracks until i heard them in your set, keep up the good work.

Hey,
daniel kristopherre left me a copy of your cd this morning and told me i HAVE to listen to it. i was jamming to it in my car on the way to work, and i was BLOWN AWAY! around 6 minutes, whatever track was playing was so uplifting and pretty, and it started to rain - but there was no clouds in the sky, it was pure sunshine with this rain, and i saw a double rainbow... the rain seemed like it was peaking with the song. talk about an effect. and then it was over. that was some craziness.
anyways... awesome cd. i love it. |

as i said... never disappointed. i had a bit of a funky week and needed a pick-me-up. this did the trick. the mix really soared

i must admit that i'm not the most active person on the board but i'm so Glad i can follow your creations , WELL DONE ! the tracks u combined Really made me Feel Better and raised my smile more then the usual .

awesome thanks. so glad you liked it. a lot of trance lovers do drift away from trance and go towards the housey type stuff. i actually did too but my love for trance still remained. there is still tons of great trance being made, just like in any genre. i did dabble in making house-based mixes but i found that you don't have as much room for creativity. at least imo, i can make something more effective with the tools of trance. everyones differen't of course. i just find the emotions and moods of trance to be a much richer pallet than what house has to offer.
and yeah that Jussi Soro song is ing awesome. i just wish that breakdown lasted longer. :eyespop: |

that is so AWESOME. i love it when that happens, lol. that's the great thing about trance, it's so atmospheric and seems to compliment any great experience. cheers for listening and thanks for sharing!
