I do completely agree with you. I have got the feeling that some of the Swedish House Mafia members (I would not mention whom) should have to start thinking about retiring from the music scene.

Eric is still by far the best!! I personally consider that he has a perfect sense of balance between his more "commercial tracks" and his "alternative" productions. I think I will start getting worried about his career as DJ as soon as I see him making such kind of "rubbish" compilations. So I will keep my fingers crossed for not seeing that.

Hoping my opinion does not offend anyone.

Quitting because you have a bad spell is a brilliant idea, everyone should live their lives by this

I agree with Tayfoon for once.

The Mafia is still sounding great, except when they (Angello & Ingrosso) attempt to go all minimal, DJ wise.

are any of them being broadcast from cream's 14th b'day atm?

There will always be a time when you as both a DJ and a producer lose focus. In Sweden we are currently experiencing a change in electronic music which we haven't had in a very long time and all I notice within the SHM is the reaction to this. I was very chocked when f.e. Eric Prydz played Gabriel Ananda - Doppelwhipper (Live) at Grodan last month, since that gave me a hint that the entire SHM are experiencing the minimal wave. I think the development that, in this case, Angello has made is totally natural as a talented musician and he will sooner or later find his place in the new musical atmosphere.

For my own part I listen to both house (progressive and SHM) and techno (minimal and regular) and I love them equally much. They complete each other and I think that the entire SHM agrees with me on this.

Exactly! I actually made a special mashup for my own DJ sets with 'Some Polyphony' :)

Here's a sample (sorry for WMA): [[ LINK REMOVED ]]

I also made a new mash, but since Ferriberri doesn't exsist in good quality I can't really finalize it :/

Guys... that cd Steve & Seb mixed is kickass. Single is GREAT! I can understand if you don't like minimal... but if you do, that cd is mint (if you don't listen to Teasing Mr. Charlie :p)

And for the record... no I do not want the mafia to continue on their minimal spiral ;) I don't think Ax ever started his change yet :happy2:
