Time and time again with these BLUE review threads have I said "this was the best BLUE ever." But every time I wonder, how can we top this? How can we make it...untoppable? (If such a word exists.)
If there is such a word, it would describe tonight's BLUE.
FLTA's very best.
South Florida's best, former resident @ Shadow Lounge, MIA Lounge, and a famous opening/closing DJ at Space.
Two of these men in one small BLUE bar on Hispanola way. WHAT a night.
I met up with Damon outside, and a short time later, a face from long ago came by. The gorgeous Amy (glittergirl). She'd told me she hadn't heard trance for quite some time. I assured her, tonight she wouldn't be disappointed.
Groove Eric began his opening set with some progressive and house tracks, along with the occasional traditional trancer. It defintely got the crowd at BLUE going.
Edgar V came on for a much needed stomping in that little bar and delivered track after track of smashing nasty ass which included:
Aalto - 5 (Spacemasters, you are a n00b for missing your track. :D )
Terry Bones - When they come (dub)
Interstate - Remember me (Terry Bones remix)
The Thrillseekers ft. Gina Dootson - By Your Side (Martin Roth remix)
Randy Katana - In Silence (Txitarro remix) <- GOD I love this.
And many, many more.
After Edgar, Eric stepped back up for some more non-stop tuneage which included:

Can't remember the rest but nearing the end of the night, Eric and Edgar were doing the tag-team on the CDJ-1000s. Absolutely awesome flow, consistency and flawless mixing. A really memorable in' night. We defintely need another one of these nights. Keep up the great work Edgar and Eric.
TA turnout was absolutely epic. Quite a few faces I hadn't seen for some time...awesome of you guys to come out and support! :)

I wish I would have been there the WHOLE NIGHT!
Damn, nothing like walking in late as fuk to a party that is OUTTA HAND!! More later.. I can't think str8.

| lol @ richard and ivan. WOW what a great night!!! What a great TA turnout, and what the hell happened yesterday???? THAT....WAS TOTAL OWNAGE!!! Sorry I had to leave an hour early(no comment), but it was a blast! As soon as I got there around 11 ish, I knew it was going to be a longgggg night! A couple memorable tracks were played including In Silence(thx John you trickster:stongue: ) and another which i don't think a lot of you knew...Quivver - Point of View(omg i almost died!! Eric thank you bitch!!!!) All in all an unforgettable night. Edgar great seeing you again bro!!! |

wow just wow, i had a blast it was great seeing everyone and meeting the new sfltas that i havent met before. i think me and elecmfreak had like 5 shots of tequila it was GREATTT. great tracks!!!!!
