I take back my earlier words, the Dutch aren't that weak after all ;)
They were definitely the stronger team by far, though they couldn't express the difference with more goals. Robben and Van Persie were a delight to wach. |

Man of the Match: Robben
Nuff said.
Serbia showed its weakness with no playmaker in midfield. Kezman and Milosevic both had crappy games because they got no service.
IMO Dutch defence showed gaps and that may be worrisome against Argies and Ivory Coast. |

Same here, terribly disappointed in Serbia... total lack of offensive creation, let alone scoring opportunities.
Not sure what to say about this group, the so called group of death now seems like a cake group for Argentina and Netherlands. |

I think I may have to agree with you slightly on this one. |

| Holland joins Argentina as the most impressive team so far, but remove Robben and I've got big doubts over the dutch squad. The guy made the game, best individual exhibition so far in the cup. I'm expecting more from the other 10 players than to rely all the time on the Chelsea winger. |

Dissapointment is the only thing I feel right now.
We started out very well in the first half and had the intiative for 15 minutes. Nederlands took over the intiative, they played very simple football.
The main problem we had in our team was Nenad Djordjevic. He was given the chance to play by Petkovic, but didn't make it today. Substituted after less than 40 minutes, Why?
He gave Robben to much space on the left side of the pitch, he was never close enough to him and played very shakey. He also knew that Robben is a very fast player, so that's probably why he gave Robben so much space on the left side.
I wouldn't say Nederlands played very well today, and they were actually lucky sometimes, the same goes with Serbia & Montenegro.
The reason why Nederlands wins this game is a small misstake from Gavrancic, he didn't communicate with Djordjevic who was trying with a offside-trap. Gavrancic didn't make up for it, and Robben scored the goal between Dragoslav Jevric arm.
The reason why Robben became the man of the match was the marking, and nothing more. Koroman was always a starter in my mind, and he should've got the chance to play from start.
On a positive aspect, we actually played well in the second half after Koroman was given the chance to play. Predrag Djordjevic always does something with the ball, even though his crossing was bad today. Dejan Stankovic played bad today, and didn't get the chance to break through in the middle, he only had the chance to shot or cross once.
Albert Nadj was just great today, and outruled van Bommel. One of the best today in Serbia & Montenegro together with Jevric who saved a couple of chances, Mladen Krstajic who played great in the defence, and ofcourse, Ognjen Koroman who was the injection when he came on.
Daniel Ljuboja and Nikola Zigic was great in the second half, tried a couple of things that Milosevic and Kezman didn't. Kezman was the worst today, together with Djordjevic.
This is far from over, and I promise you, We will ing make it. Things can't get any worse now, and Vidic is coming back after a suspension.
We have nothing to lose against Argentina. |

Robben was amazing, I wonder how much energy it must have cost him to run this much in 30 degrees heat
Van der Sarr class as always :D |

| Sorry ZZ but I don't see much hope for Serbia. In another group maybe (if they were in Group A instead of Poland they'd probably win it!), but they shouldn't be a match for Argentina and not even Ivory Coast. |

First of all, It's much easier to run your ass off when you're playing at night. It's hard to play at 15:00, the hottest time at a day.
I see a way for us making it through, even though it's going to be hard as hell. Still haven't given up the hope, and with Vidic back, we should play a lot better defensively. Koroman has to start, Stankovic has to play more in the middle.
We lost this game because we didn't have a player who marked Robben, because he had the ball 99 of 100 times during the game. They were always crossing the same ball, from defence to midfield, or from another midfielder to Robben. |
