I think also a lot has to do with a difference in culture, USA has never really been a soccer country and has never payed much attention to it (for instance, if you'd ask americans what the world cup 2006 is, I guess a lot of them would be clueless). USA is more a country off football, basketball, baseball, ... and in those sports they do dominate it for a large part |
