i think thats about what my parents pay for the house..... a month... wtf? u guys have a high cost of living? or is it just gas/real estate?

this is a loaded question. you could say yes and you could say no. there are lots of places that are cheap as hell but there are just as many places that are expensive as . anywhere in southern california that is west of riverside is expensive unless you are in the more ghetto areas. anything in the bay area is expensive in general although there are areas that arent but they are more south and east. sacramento can be but overall isnt as bad but still same level of cost of living since wages are a lot lower. anwhere north of sacramento is cheap as hell because its in the middle of nowhere but the wages are ty as hell too.

if you think southern CA is bad...you should see San Fran and NYC rent and real estate prices

here in southern california it is as bad as SF but not quite as bad as NYC.

holy . i dont even got any of that extra . just a plain ol' 2bed/2bath for $1450. Im movin to SD! LOL I wish

i was in a 2bdrm prolly 950 sq ft house and i myself paid 825..the rent for the whole place was 2k

I pay $725 for my own room in the apartment. I have my own bathroom. Walk-in closet + another small closet. I also have a balcony. My 2 roommates share the smaller room...they pay $362.50 each! LOL
