Sorry mais
je crois que lorsque vous comparez l'alcool et le Pot, vous faites une grave erreur.
SI je prend un verre de vin ou une biere un soir...c pas dans le but necessairment de me saouler.
MAis si je fume un joint (s'que jai jamais fait)... c sur que c pour etre gelé.
??
Donc je vois mal le GVT légaliser qqc qui sert seulement a gelé le monde..
caliss on est assez gelé et paralyser au quebec...faut pas en plus légaliser la drogue... |

mais la population quebecoise achete plus drogues de prescription pour geler qu'avant....c mieux ca?
et dit moi pas que tout le monde on besoin de prendre ces drogues la.

Your point of view makes sense but you have to be realistic and look at the big picture. Look at all the statistics of alcohol related deaths, injuries, illnesses etc and compare to those of marijuana. Just by doing that it shouldn't be more obvious that alcohol is VERY dangerous and it is a drug just like marijuana and it can easily be abused. Your going to tell me that someone who abuses Alcohol all there life is healthier then someone who abuses Marijuana? People are ignorant and it pisses me off cause they think that because alcohol is legal it means it can't harm them. |

about the person still maintaining its hard to tax it...
geez.
farmers would grow it on much larger lands, sell it to grocers, which would sell it to manufacturers which would be sold to end users.
every step would be taxed like any other manufacturing chain.
And at those quantities, it would cost less than the corner dealer. |

Pot is everywhere.
Whether its legal or not there's no way around it.
Look at all the countries that have decriminalized it...are they any worse for it? I dont think so.
And we really shouldn't compare alcohol to pot....alcohol is much more dangerous...hell, a strong case can be made for cigarettes being more dangerous than marijuana...so please ... :p
If marijuana is legalized we'll end up paying more because of taxes....so let's just keep it as it is...let the government get their money and we'll just conitnue smoking lol

That being said, smoke is bad for your lungs. Im sorry it just is, you're lungs are meant to have AIR in them NOT smoke. There's a reason you cough like a TB patient when you first try to smoke. |

good point; pot is an alternative to cotton, alcohol, some prescription drugs, paper industry ... so for those industries legalization of pot = significant losses;
and besides,
alcohol kills on average 270 people a day in US only (maybe more)
tobacco kills 1300 a day or more
pot ? probably none
its a natural product not a synthesized drug like cocaine, heroine, ecstasy and other crap
the problem is that it grows almost everywhere and doesn’t need any special attention therefore anyone could grow it;
and isn’t addictive at all compared to tobacco, alcohol, and harder drugs;
So far I haven’t seen or heard a VALID, SERIOUS and CONVINCING argument that would force me to believe that legalizing pot is a bad idea. |
