FIFA are at fault here, they've got up the arses of all the ref's to dish out cards & so on, those who don't won't get more games, even if we find the games they officiate much better. They're putting too much pressure on them imo |

| well, that's the best goal so far imo, Anyone can strike a long-range shot, but a move of skill, pace & quality there :D |

I wouldn't say that Spain impressed very much, Ukraine was nervous and played ty all game long.
Ukraine made two misstakes in the beginning, first the goalkeeper saves a shot which goes to a corner, bad goalkeeping, He was sleeping. Then Xabi Alonso scores 1-0 for Spain.
Then a bad tackle from Rusol, which results in a very lucky freekick, and Spain increases their lead after the ball touches a player in Ukraine's wall.
Spain also always has help from referee's, and even though you were unlucky in one game (South Corea 2002), you can't say that Ukraine deserved a red card, or that Spain deserved a penalty.
Third goal was a joke.
This also happened when Ukraine started playing quite cool in the second half. But I can't say that they didn't deserve this game, they surely did and I'm also very dissapointed in Ukraine's performance.
The fourth goal was Puyol's, very nicely played and shot by Fernando Torres
I certainly hope that the red card will be taken away, it was a joke and this referee was ty.
Now, Congrats. |

Since these were 2 WC games in a row for spain, I think that it's evened itself out for spain, Unlucky for ukraine yeah, but in turn the odds of luck should help them.
Sadly with the refs again, fifa mark down every little time they don't totally follow the laws letter by letter, so i think this guy was trying too hard to please them than actually rule over the game. |

I just think it's sad that they're getting so much help from the referee's.
Not only this game, but many many others.. |
