I hope Pernia gets the chance to play tomorrow, he deserves that chance and will probably prove how good he is.
Ukraine can also prove how good they are, and why they qualified like they did. Should be a great game, despite the heat.. |

Foot - CM - UKR : Chevtchenko incertain
Blessé à un genou depuis un mois, Andrei Chevtchenko pourrait être absent du premier match de l'Ukraine dans le Mondial contre l'Espagne.
Le sélectionneur Oleg Blokhine a refusé dimanche de se prononcer sur la présence de son attaquant vedette au coup d'envoi (mercredi 14 juin, 15h00). Mais le nouveau joueur de Chelsea ne peut pas s'entraîner normalement et exprime lui-même des doutes sur sa participation.
Blokhine demande à Chevtchenko de ne pas forcer à l'entraînement et reste philosophe. L'ancien Ballon d'or (1975) relève que l'Allemagne a joué son premier match sans sa star Ballack, ce qui ne l'a pas empêché de s'imposer face au Costa-Rica (4-2). |
