| wow, poland playing an amazing game. i hope they can keep up the tempo in the second half. if they do, could be a thrilling 2nd half. otherwise they will get raped :) |

The first 45 minutes was lovely to watch, great intesity and aggresive play from both teams.
Poland started out very well and played great for 20 minutes, Jelen and Smolarek was great during that period of the game. They also created a lot of chances during this period of play.
Germany was playing great to, but Poland was better during the first 20 minutes. They came back though, and played very well after Kloses header. That should've gone in, and you can't miss chances like that if you're going to win this derby.
Podolski had the best chance perhaps, even though it was as good as Kloses header past the goal. This shot was also off target and wide of the goal, Great play there from everyone involved.
I'm really glad Pawel Janas started with Jelen and Jop's substitute, and Bak has been great so far in the defence, playing great.
Would be great to see Poland win this game now, they really are in need of this and this fits their play way better than it did against Ecuador.
