The reason I dislike the moniker is that darkside to me is synonymous with Darth Vader and all that...and well...frankly...on TA I feel like we're the Rebel Alliance :wtf:
Ok not really. What I really think is, everyone should enjoy whatever music they enjoy and if we disagree on whats good or whats better, then I'll agree to disagree.
As long as people keep an open mind and arent following what other people tell them to think, they can listen to whatever they want.
I think there is good music in almost every genre (including pop music), and if a DJ rocks their genre (be it prog/dnb/techno/whatever) then I'll respect them.
To me its not a good idea to create darksides or lightsides as they only divide people. |

| i always took it for dark side = dark music... like prog, electro, tribal, techno... basically darker beats, and the dark side crew just referred to the avalon regulars, where those genres are played.... as opposed to the "other" side the fluffier melodic/uplifting/epic trancey circus-arena side...? |

i see clovis's point but i have never thought about it dividing people, it was just easier to say that than list all the people every time, my fingers get tired from typing :D
