Darkbeat returns to its original 4/4 roots with 2 premier acts. We welcome CHRONIK DJ’S [PQM & Matt Peri] (LIVE), who are fresh from destroying Renaissance in Sydney, and a Darkbeat favourite and leader of the deep hypnotic groove – Ozzie LA.
For this event we will be transforming Brown Alley’s Garden Bar, complete with sound system and décor. For those who witnessed Phil K literally destroy this room when we had him down last can attest – the vibe in there is A1 Tearin!
CHRONIK DJ’S [PQM & Matt Peri]
Favored among the likes of Deep Dish, Danny Howells, Hernan Cattaneo and Danny Tenaglia, this New York native has been influencing the world's underground dance scene since the early 90's.
PQM has played in such far flung places as Russia, Peru, Costa Rica, Canada, Greece, China, Japan, New Zealand, and now Australia. For this show he teams up with vocalist Matt Peri for an exclusive live performance!
OZZIE LA
In our opinion, Ozzie LA has been the most consistent DJ in Melbourne over the many years we have had the pleasure of listening to the man play records. Whilst many have come and gone – Ozzie has remained true to his sound – deep and hypnotic house music. The true leader of the rolling groove – his track selection and mixing are as consistent as they get.
We always welcome Ozzie back to Darkbeat, do not miss this rare opportunity to hear him in an intimate setting!
